Dr Michael Ryan: Dr Michael Ryan is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. Dr Ryan is a global leader in the role of footwear and injury risk in runners. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in top journals in the fields of sports medicine, orthopaedics and biomechanics.
Carmen Colomer: Carmen is currently the Director of Sports Science for the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA where she manages training load and recovery. Prior to Carmen’s current role, she spent almost a decade in high-performance sport working for teams such as the Melbourne Rebels, ACT Brumbies and Brisbane Broncos.
Avish Sharma: Avish is currently physiology and research lead at Triathlon Australia. He previously worked in the sports of Athletics and Swimming whilst completing his PhD in altitude training at the Australian Institute of Sport. His interests include endurance physiology, developmental pathways for sport scientists, learning to surf, and eating noodles.
