Despite knowing exercise is good for us, half of all Aussie adults aren’t moving enough. A lot of the dialog around exercise turns it into a chore or punishment, creating a negative relationship between our minds and movement. We want to change that.

This Exercise Right Week, we want to highlight some of the incredible physical, mental and social benefits of exercise (that have NOTHING to do with the number on the scale!).
For each day during the campaign, we’re sharing free resources and inspiring stories from everyday Aussies who have used exercise to improve their health and quality of life. Here are some of our favourite reasons to move…
Mental Health: We're highlighting how staying active can improve your mood and mental health.
Heart Health: It's Australia's biggest killer, so learn how moving more protects your heart.
Physical Health: Everyone, regardless of health, can physically benefit from moving more!
Brain Health: Exercise can boost cognitive performance and help to protect against brain conditions.
Social Health: With more Aussies than ever experiencing loneliness, exercise can connect people.
Self Care: Lastly, we want to finish the week with a gentle reminder it's NOT selfish to prioritise your health and take time to yourself to exercise. Show your body you love it by moving more!
There are events, including free exercise classes, group walks and education sessions, both online and in-person all around Australia.
